Happy Birthday, Didi!

It's a beautiful Mother's Day here....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL ON THE F-LIST, EVEN THOSE WHO ARE MOTHER'S TO THEIR PRECIOUS PETS!

It's a beautiful day in Chicago-Elgin, the Indians are in first place, the neighbor is having a tree taken down & Lily won't stop barking (he is a stranger after all), I'm still in my jammies, and the fire alarm just went off.....

it was just the batteries....

I want to apologize....

I never, EVER, meant to "spill the beans" about the house and other things that I recently posted.

I should be like silver and do a gratitude list.  But there isn't must to be grateful for in my life anymore.  The future looks so depressing and bleak.

I appreciate the well wishes, but I know it's hard to write anything.  One just doesn't know what to say when situations like this happen.  Just wanted people to know that even though I  haven't really posted or said much lately.  I'm still here.  At least physically.

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL SIL!

I don't know what I'd do without her.

Especially now.

Life in Ohio was so much better.  I HATE THIS FUCKING STATE!

But Wendy, I don't know what I'd do without you.  You're always there for me.  I wish I could be at your birthday celebration.

Thank you for being in my life.  Even if you might not see this.

Videos of Lily from this morning.

Our Lily has a daily ritual every weekday morning:

1) Come downstairs withi Mommy & go potty;

2) Play with a "baby";

3) Drag the towel Daddy used to dry his hair, into the living room and roll around in it.

Obviously I don't take any pictures of #1, but here is are two vids from this morning.  I just happened to have the camera handy.  Don't worry, they're not long, though it takes a few seconds for the first one to really get going.

Thank you to Marion for the lovely gift!

Pretty hearts & candy!  Now I only need them delivered by the right man, in a damp white towel and orange bathrobe.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARION!

I hope this day is brighter than the rest of your week.  You deserve some sunshine.

Robin Gibb in coma

http://todayentertainment.today.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/15/11205520-singer-robin-gibb-of-bee-gees-fame-in-coma?lite

I was a major Bee Gee fan in the late 70s.

And like 90% of other girls, I adored Barry, though Maurice was cute and thought Robin geeky looking.

However, since he cut his long hair years ago, I noticed how hot Robin really is.  And as I matured, I realized that Robin was the major talent of the four brothers.  (Okay, I had pictures of Andy on my wall more than Barry).  He's a major musical force and has rarely come under critism for his talents - other than when Disco was being trashed.

He was the driving force, from what I understand, to make the change from rock to disco mid-70s.  If that's true, it also makes him a forward thinking musician.

Listen to Massachutes.  The lyrics, his longing, the bridges in the music.

My prayers go out to Mr. Gibb and his family.  Here's praying for a good recovery.

So Kelly & Stanley get down to Maysville, right?

Now they've never seen this house, other than the pictures the guy (who's ex-Navy) sent them.  HA!  I don't even think it's the same house, because I saw the pictures, too.
